... Let me say as a great Japanese Historian, that This "ninja" game as you called it is not at all focussed on Ninja. It is called Genji and is about a Samurai and a Warrior monk! The first game on PS2 was fantastic, and had PS3 style graphics. THe second is bound to be just as good. it is just the way that the idiotic american talked about it that has put it to shame! Yes, Genji is based upon REAL JAPANESE BATTLES, but it is BASED ON THEM and is NOT A REAL ACCOUNT OF JAPANESE HISTORY. The game Genji is based upon a certain book, basically, and closely follows that. The Tale of the Heike, is about the same events, minus the giant crab, magical orbs, and evil jumping dancey people... But the designers of Genji wanted to Onimusha it up, you could say (it was made by the creator of Onimusha after all) and thus the outcome was Genji. BASED on real Japanese battles, The battles of the Minamoto and the Taira, but NOT THE ACTUAL ACCOUNT OF IT!!! If certain watchers of this conference knew their Japanese History, they would not have made so many jokes about it! But yes the massive damage thing is rather stupid!

ok, that was pretty funny, but let's face it: this is propaganda. sure, there's a bunch of stupid demos and ads they used, but that doesn't make it a good product. Sony has always loaded on the bullshit, and it never hurt their systems in the end. all systems start off bad, so you gotta give them a year to warm up. sure, M$ makes their systems look good at their press conferences, but they're no less full of bullshit, and their focus on advertising shows a lower quality system in the end. also keep in mind that they're throwing out reps, not the actual game developers, and not necessarily hardware developers either. believe me, even the directors are full of shit. we found that out a while ago, the first time Kutaragi opened his wide trap.

Yeah the press confrence wasn't perfect but if you want to compare if you bought the better 360 for $399.99 and the network adapter look another $99.99 oh wait you have to pay to be online that's right $59.99. Total system without games $559.97 So is $600.00 really that bad or maybe it's the fact that you work at a fast food restarant and can't afford anything but the core 360 and do nothing but bash playstation because you got a 360 and there's no way your gonna spend the rent on another system. Xbox 360 overheat, the games crack in the center. Oh yeah they have great online play and only 1 good game that is a pc port (Call of Duty 2).

There's nothing wrong with not being able to afford a PS3 if history is anything to go by (not the ancient japanese variety) then even this will be lies. The PS3 will cost even more, be even more useless, and heat up like the lean, mean fat grilling machine it is. So fanboys, be careful when you mock the xbox 360 because when your console comes out it will be so mockable it won't be worth trying. Wii60 FTW

$600.00 TOTAL! The PS3 starts at $600 plus a game $70, and whatever else you'll have to buy for it, you'll end up saving just as much as originally, but the PS3 will still cost more. Xbox 360: $600 PS3: $700-$800

This video is useless in disproving the points made by Sony in that video. All it does is chop the video footage, to create a humourous propanda video. I mean, sure the PS3 is expensive, but until the system is fully released, no one is in a position to state which is better. If the Genji for PS2 had PS3 graphics, the poor console (PS2) would have simply burst into flames by being in the mere vicinity of the game. I´m sure it´s a great game, and that PS3 will be a great console. Sony is messing this up, capitally. I loved the PS1 and the PS2 (Despite having to change it 3 times over due to defect products), and it´s a fact that I own both consoles. However, the PS3 offers nothing new of which my computer could not handle, both in terms of graphics and gameplay. The next gen marks an end to my endless buying of Sony products (sticking to non-console thingies made by them). I´ll buy a Wii and a 360 instead... either that or upgrade my computer further. 600 bucks ought to give me quite the push in dreamworks direction.

Heh, this conference always cracks me up. Anyway, the PS3 so far has nothing on offer that I'm interested in. I'll admit to being a cheapskate, in that I don't think it's really overpriced, but that I personally just don't want to pay that much.

Another thing that cracks me up is Sony fanboys say you don't have to pay for the networking with the PS3. Well firt of all, the XBox 360 comes with a wired 10/100 ethernet port but no wifi. Honestly I wouldn't use WIFI if it was built it. Because you know that one time it lags with online DM and you die your going to rip the WIFI out and plug the damn thing in. WIFI blows period. Also with the XBox 360 we don't have to buy cables to hook it up to the TV like the Sony (HDMI Cable for "true HD". Also good luck finding and then buying a real 1080P tv set. Microsoft looked at the big picture and in the next 5 years 720P is going to be the defacto standard while 1080P slowly trickles in. Also I have never had my XBox 360 overheat, never had it scrath a game (and it is upright) and never had a lockup or issue outside of a sound glitch with a demo. Aside from that it has run silky smooth. and P.S. the people who have their 360's overheat have them locked in a cabinet with an air temperature over 120 degrees F because they are 12 and don't know any better. Go figure with wireless controllers it still works in sealed entertainment center! I am not a fanboy of any sort and yes I have enough money to buy any and every system there is. However I am not an idiot and don't waste money, that is why I purchase things after doing research.

The bottom line is that all console based platforms have had there day. Consoles used to fill the nitch between the casual gamer and the hardcore gamer, which the PC would be platform of choice. Looking at the gimics seen on the video, the PSP rear view and Ridge Racer, i actually yamned. I have just upgraded to a crossfire setup and am completley astounded how good it is especially on Oblivion. There is no way that a PS3 or 360 could match this and a 3 years into there releases they will become tired. The consoles have had there day. The lack of innovation for the consoles have crippled these once mighty giants and not to mention that Europe will not even see the PS3 until march 2007 even though its the biggest games market out there, while fookin USA and Japan bask in there original release dates. The only saving grace to this is that there will be a shortage of devices even in these areas. HAHAHA XMAS without PS3 USA JAPAN, but the question is should we realy care. Europr has been fooked around by Sony too many times now. Maybe 3 years ago i was feverantley waiting for PS3 but since dual graphics have become a more affordable option for the PC format then what is the point of a HD 'Next Gen' console. It was the same for the PSP, but lack of stock and the fookin awfull UMD formats killed that off and im now using mine as a paperwait/cup rest. The only console that has anything going for it is Nintendo's Wii and that is the controllers, and is the only real innovation out of all the formats, but even that is still not enough for me to go out and buy one on release. If you look in the right places two crossfire cards and a motherboard could be yours for £600, i guess thats around $800, and this would trump any console. So everyone get with it dont buy consoles pump your money into PC, and a big fuck you to Ken stick that PS3 where the sun dont shine, smash that PSP into dust and someone point out to him just where Eurpoe is on the map. Wait, did he $600 if u really look at the price its not much, for what u get. Blu-ray dvd player cost 1000 dollars so the ps3 should really be 1600 dollars not 600. And lets say u get an XBox 360, 399.00 dollars 200 less than the ps3. but take in account that if u want a hd dvd player thats 200, then xbox live is 59.99 the wireless internet is 99.99 so add that all together then u just paid $759.99 w/o games. oh and games for the PS3 are $60 not 70, or 80, 90, 100. Great graphics and gameplay plus i love how whoever edited this video put Gran Turismo 4 gameplay there (which was on the PS2) and not Gran Turismo HD or Gran Turismo V. And what about all the other games the PS3 has like Resistance: Fall Of Man, Motorstorm, Metal Gear Solid: Guns Of Patriots, so get a PS3 instead.

Games like Gears of War are not graphically possible on the PS3. The level of detail and the high resolutions of textures are too much for the PS3's inefficient and limited memory. If you look at games like Resistance and MGS4, you can see that many of the textures looks extremely flat and pixelated. The PS3 as a system is extremely difficult to work with. Because of this, many games have been delayed or canceled all together. More importantly, many features are being scrapped when compared to it's cross platform 360 counterpart. It is true that the PS3 can output 1080p, but to fully take advantage of said feat, you will need to purchase (sold separately) the HDMI cable (very costly) and have a 1080p HD display (extremely costly). Most people won't even have this setup at the end of the PS3's life expectancy. Moreover, there are barely any games which actually run in 1080p. That says PS3 actually cost more than Xbox 360 and other extra combined. Sure, the PS3 has a HD standard, and the upgraded one is 60gb... Unfortunately, when compared to the 360 and a 20gb HD, realistically it has less storage. Since the Blu-Ray drive runs at 2x max, games are painfully slow. This process is sped up by installing large amounts of game data onto the hard drive. Many games need around 5gb of data, and some require this installation to play. Because of this, you may only be able to play 4 games at any given time, with no room for downloaded content. People who criticize about Xbox Live price never even touched its awesome service. $50 per year is like nothing. Ask anyone beside Sony zombies. Compared to internet cost it is too cheap. MS does not make money out of Xbox Live. Sony announced that they will keep the same crappy online service of PS2 in PS3. Sony's online service is crippled. Developers have admitted to this, and some have started developing separate systems that do not utilize the potential of the PS3 Network (unified friends list, rankings, awards). You lost all the credibility. Last of all, PS3 lost many exclusives, but signed with mediocre companies that produce mediocre games such as genji 2 and crossfire. There is almost nothing left ro Gaystation 3.

To person above, games can still be played on a regular TV and won't need a HD display, plus for the 360 you will also need to buy an HD display to take advantage of 1080p so thats not a valid argument. Also it is not true that the games are put onto the Hard Drive because i have the PS3 and have Madden, and Resistance, i have not downloaded anything on my hard drive yet, and it reads that i still have 60.00 GB of space left. The PS3 has also been proven to be faster than the 360. Developers for Gears Of War also stated that they had to push the 360 to its limits with the game. The PS3 is more powerful than the 360 because it has 8 processors all working together in parrallel. And last of all i have an XBox not a 360 just an XBox and have to say who cares if $50 is nothing, why should i have to pay anyway for online when i bought the system to begin with. If $50 is nothing then maybe XBox Live should cost nothing. There is almost nothing left ro ShitBox 360.
